Role Overview

As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, stability, and performance of custom software applications before release. You will work closely with Business Analysts, UI/UX Designers, Developers, and Delivery Managers throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

The successful candidate must have strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and experience testing enterprise-grade web and mobile applications.

Mandatory Experience

1. 3–5 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
2. Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience using AI-powered QA tools.
3. Experience testing custom web and mobile applications.
4. Experience working in Agile/Scrum development teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Test custom web and mobile applications.
2. Prepare and execute detailed test cases.
3. Identify, document, and track software defects.
4. Perform functional, regression, UI/UX, API, and compatibility testing.
5. Validate bug fixes and conduct regression testing.
6. Collaborate closely with developers and business analysts.
7. Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
8. Use AI-powered QA tools to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
9. Maintain test documentation and quality reports.
10. Ensure software meets business and quality standards before release.

Required Technical Skills

1. Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
2. Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
3. REST API Testing.
4. SQL basics for database validation.
5. Mobile and web application testing.
6. Excellent defect reporting and documentation.
7. Understanding of Agile methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
2. ISTQB Certification (Preferred).
3. Automation Testing Certification (Preferred).
