Ascendion is a staffing company that manages a large workforce of temporary, contract, and permanent employees across industries such as healthcare, IT and manufacturing. Managing thousands of employee timesheets manually created challenges in payroll processing, client billing, compliance and workforce administration.

To address these challenges, a cloud-based Timesheet Administration System (TAS) was developed to digitize timesheet submission, automate approvals, integrate payroll and billing processes and provide real-time workforce insights.

Ascendion faced several challenges in managing timesheets across its large and distributed workforce:
